Service Call Dispatcher

Cennox is currently seeking two new, part-time team members to join our Service Department. The Service Department is an internal unit focused on managing the daily service calls from all of our customers. Service calls are time-sensitive additions to regularly scheduled work that are assigned at the customer’s request throughout the day.

Our new Service Call Dispatchers will possess excellent attention to detail, professional written/verbal communication skills, and problem solving and decision making capabilities. You should be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently with moderate supervision. It will be crucial to understand the importance of meeting deadlines and, of course, to enjoy being part of a team.

Schedule: This is a part-time position. Availability on nights and weekends is required. Remote work will be permitted after training. 

Starting compensation is DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take service calls and dispatch them nationwide to the appropriate Field Manager/Technician
  • Contact technicians about the work to be completed and act as liaison between the customer and the field staff
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Assist with technical support over the phone
  • Miscellaneous jobs, such as copying, filing, answering phones, etc., as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of standard office practices
  • Demonstrate organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Capability to sit and stay focused for long periods of time
  • Demonstrate skill in operation of computers and keyboarding, including typing 45wpm, knowledge of MS office products, e-mail, and ability to learn specialized software programs. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Background check must meet customer requirements
