Commercial Alarm Inspector

We are currently looking for a new member of our U.S. Electronic Security team. 

Cennox is looking for a Systems Inspector to service a route that covers the Pennsauken/Philadelphia area. In this position, you will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections, surveys, and related project work. You must be able to prioritize your workload, comply with processes and quality checklists, and accurately report service data. You will act as the primary customer contact and must be able to foster good working relationships. You must also be able to organize and manage paperwork and inventory. 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect Fire Alarm Systems
  • Test and inspect Burglar Alarm systems in banking centers and remote ATMs
  • Complete project work related to BA and FA alarm systems
  • Schedule your assigned work for the month
  • Complete jobs and paperwork correctly and in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience with alarm/electronic security systems is preferred
  • Must have OH Fire License
  • Must be technology savvy with smart-phone familiarity (android platform preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend and stoop while working
  • Must have mechanical / technological / electrical aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret written instructions and documents
  • Ability to learn through telephone training
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to communicate well and provide excellent customer service
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle you are willing to use for work travel
  • Criminal Record Search must pass our customer’s requirements
  • Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability vehicle insurance to perform work in the area
  • May be subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Must have a driving record in Good Standing
