Project/Warehouse Manager

CPSS is currently looking for a Project/Warehouse Manager to join the team. The position is based in the Richmond, VA, area.

We are seeking a hard-working, versatile individual who is ready to tackle both Project Management and Warehouse Management duties. Our ideal candidate will be either a capable Warehouse Manager who can also handle many administrative duties or a Project Manager who is not afraid to take on the hands-on warehouse tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure the flawless execution of project
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Develop project scope and objective with customers, internal sales team, and operations/field team to ensure technical feasibility
  • Work with sales and operations to analyze project needs and create reasonable and profitable contracts and bids
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Create a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report issues and escalate as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all other teams involved
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform general warehousing duties
  • Oversee material and equipment shipping and receiving
  • Conduct warehouse and on-site project clean-up in order to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Supervise sub-contractors and trades
  • Maintain inventory controls
  • Uphold quality service by following organization standards
  • Complete necessary reports and paperwork
  • Operate forklift
  • Help with ATM installations off-site when necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in management roles, preferably within commercial construction
  • General warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Construction background is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills are crucial, including knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Leadership experience and ability to motivate a team
  • Ability to plan and prioritize a work load and project schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Able and willing to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach freely
  • Must return satisfactory background/DMV investigation
