Routing Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Routing Coordinator to join the Cennox team at our U.S. headquarters in Missoula, MT. In this role, you will be responsible for completing tasks assigned by the Senior Routing Analyst. The Routing Coordinator will complete scheduling/routing of work order assignments and basic travel analysis of projects for the Cennox Operations team in a timely and efficient manner.  Our ideal candidate will possess excellent data management skills and proficient knowledge of computer applications and logistics and will utilize these skills to provide accurate and timely work assignment completion.  This is a fast-paced, ever-changing office environment where processes adapt on a moment’s notice to adhere to an ever-evolving customer service environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Route the work order assignments for Cennox’s Field Personnel consisting of 200+ national technicians
  • Work with minimal oversight, utilizing proprietary data management work order systems built into Microsoft Access and MapPoint
  • Learn the full scope of the Cennox Routing Department’s responsibilities to support the Cennox Operations team in a backup capacity to the Senior Routing Analyst. This includes:
    • Updating Cennox’s customer asset database (in Microsoft Access) with consistent updates provided by Cennox’s customers
    • Posting project work orders in a timely fashion
    • Analyzing macro-level routing and “zoning” capacity challenges with Cennox Field Managers to increase efficiency in work order completion and lower travel incurred
    • Provide technical support to the Cennox Operations Department about data inquiries and procedural questions regarding routing, assets, or Excel
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed within the Routing Department

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree not required, however you should possess a demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Access and a basic query functions (select, update, append, etc.)
  • 2 years of working experience with Microsoft Excel is required, you must be able to demonstrate a familiarity with Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft MapPoint
  • Proficient data entry and general computer skills are required
  • Must enjoy learning various processes, systems, and policies of a service company that operates in a fast-paced service environment and constantly adapts to the demands of the industry. Should have a desire to improve upon those processes
  • Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy of work required
  • Must be well-organized with ability to prioritize work with varying deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and utilize problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must return a background check that meets customer requirements

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:  GIS, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable field.
  • Working experience with any routing optimization software
