Pre-Stage Technician (Banking & Retail Equipment)

Job Summary:
The Pre-Stage Technician is responsible for preparing, configuring, and validating recycler systems used in banking and retail environments prior to installation. This role ensures each unit is accurately set up using customer-specific information so that installations are efficient, compliant, and operational from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Review customer documentation, including branch/store details and network configurations.
Pre-stage recycler systems with customer-specific settings.
Configure software, firmware, user profiles, and security parameters.
Apply asset tagging, labeling, and documentation.
Perform functional and connectivity testing.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection requirements.
Document configurations and staging completion.
Troubleshoot and escalate issues prior to deployment.
Collaborate with installation teams and stakeholders.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Experience with banking or retail technology preferred.
Basic networking knowledge is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move equipment.
Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks.
