As a Field Technician, you will provide service and support to customers throughout the Bronx and surrounding areas by:
- Performing preventative maintenance on financial equipment
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in the field
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
- Training customers on proper equipment operation and usage
- Delivering exceptional customer service during each service call
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Supporting additional Cennox business lines through cross-training opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with low-voltage electronics, mechanical systems, or related technical equipment
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment, including multimeters and volt-ohm meters
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Experience using navigation and routing applications such as Google Maps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and participate in remote or telephone-based training
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, insured personal vehicle
- ATM, safe, or financial equipment service experience
- Experience working independently in a field service environment
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach throughout the workday
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
- Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
